Transfer an Asset to a Client

  1. In the Asset Manager, select the asset you want to transfer.
  2. Click Transfer to another Company to begin the transfer.
    • Note: If you do not see this option, contact Qualer Support at support@qualer.com or 858-223-1560.


Transfer an Asset Between Clients

  1. Navigate to the Manage Clients screen.
  2. Select the client you are transferring the asset from.
  3. Select the asset by clicking the checkbox.
  4. Click Transfer to another Company to initiate the transfer.


Complete the Asset Transfer

  1. In the pop-up window, choose whether to transfer the service records of the asset, then click OK.
  2. Select the client to transfer the asset to by clicking the green Select button next to the client’s name.
    • Use the search bar if needed to find the client.
  3. Select the client site to which the asset will be transferred.
  4. Assign a service provider to the asset (typically your company).
  5. If necessary, associate a maintenance plan to the asset.
  • If no maintenance plan exists, create one during this step.
  1. Once the maintenance plan is associated, choose whether to delete or retire the original asset.
