The container is an asset that you can use for keeping other assets in it.
Let's use Cold storage as an example. You can keep in the freezer some reagents and if the freezer is broken you will know that all reagents are out of service as well because they were kept in the wrong environment.
To register an asset as a Container, open the Asset info> Role. Click on the "Register As..."> Controlled Environment.
Enable checkboxes of the environment category you need, click Continue.
The tool configuration window will be opened. Here, you can add the name which will appear on the "container" drop-down under the Location tab, and fill in other information.
Then, you can open the asset you would like to keep in the Freezer, click on the Container drop-down, you will see the Laboratory Freezer.
+ Be sure that the container and the asset are on the same sites.
