Asset and Service Managers can add attributes at the asset level for their internal assets or their client's assets. This will allow you to capture the necessary information about the asset and how it is used. This information can then be used to influence the service requirements and will be displayed on relevant service order fulfillment screens. These attributes can be configured for each asset independently via configuration in the Asset Manager or can complement attributes configured for the product models in the Product Manager.
Steps to Add Asset Attributes
- Click the "Edit" button.
- In the "Edit Asset" pop-up, select the "Attributes" tab.
- Enter the desired attribute name in the "Add Attribute" field.
- Enter the corresponding value in the "Specify value..." field.
- Click the "Add" button to create the asset attribute.
- The new asset attribute will now appear in the attributes table.
