Bulk import Assets/ Register a New Asset
1.To import your assets, begin by selecting Assets > Asset Manager.
Note- Ensure that the manufacturer and the part number is an exact match to the manufacturer /part number in the products list (i.e. Product Manager).
2.To register just a few Assets, click on ‘Register New Asset’ from the right column of the page.
Select the Category and Type. Click 'Continue'.
If you have large number of assets to be added to your portal-
3.Click on ‘Bulk Edit and Import’ on the right of the Assets page.
3.a. Click ‘Download File’
3.b. This will download all/ selected assets in to an excel sheet.
4. On this sheet, add the new assets (leave the ID column empty) and import it back by selecting ‘Bulk Edit and Import’.
