Overview
Track and validate environmental conditions for individual measurement readings with automated fluctuation analysis. This feature expands on previous functionality by allowing granular environmental monitoring at the reading level instead of just the measurement point level.
Key Features
- Per-reading environmental condition recording
- Aggregated min/max display with fluctuation calculation
- Configurable fluctuation thresholds
- Visual indicators for in-spec (green) and out-of-spec (red) fluctuations
- Example Display: Ambient Temperature: 25.2 .. 27.1 ±1.9
Setup Instructions
- Navigate to Administration > Service Capabilities
- Select the specific capability
- Select Measurement Form
- Select the specific Measurement Parameter
- Click the Environment tab
- Enable "Track environment conditions for each reading" checkbox
- Configure environment conditions using the updated UI control in the work order item.
Configuration
Enabling Fluctuation Monitoring
- Select environment conditions
- Enable "Fluctuation must be within specification" checkbox for each condition requiring monitoring
- Configure fluctuation allowances in Service Preferences
Fluctuation Specifications
Configure environment condition fluctuation specifications for:
- As Left and As Found forms
- Specific product subcategories for finer control
Validation Logic
When fluctuation exceeds allowed threshold:
- Pass → "Pass?" (ambiguous pass)
- Fail → Remains "Fail"
Visual Indicators
- In-spec fluctuations: Green text
- Out-of-spec fluctuations: Red text
Behavior
- System aggregates environmental condition information (min, max, fluctuation) for each measurement point
- Displays color-coded fluctuation results based on configured specifications
