Custom Asset Status Management System Overview

This update introduces a Custom Asset Status Management System with new features for managing, viewing, and editing asset statuses.

Key Features & Changes:

  1. Asset Status Management Screen

    • New screen to manage custom asset statuses, including adding, editing, and deleting statuses.

  2. Asset Info Popup

    • Status Icon: Moved to the left.
    • Full Status Text: Displays the full status text if set; otherwise, defaults to "Active."
    • Hover Hint: Displays who set the status and when.

  3. Abbreviation Input Restriction

    • Abbreviation input is limited to 3 symbols.

  4. Asset Edit Popup

    • A dropdown list of custom statuses is available for selection when editing assets.

  5. Custom Status in Filters

    • Custom asset statuses are added to the Asset Filter dropdown.

  6. Bulk-Edit Functionality

    • Updated to include custom asset statuses in bulk-edit operations.

  7. Grid Display Updates

    • The status abbreviation is shown below the icon, with hover showing full status.

  8. New Configuration Screen

    • Added a Custom Asset Status configuration screen to manage asset statuses.

Guidelines:

  • Status Type Change: Once created, a status type cannot be changed. To change a type, create a new status and update the asset accordingly.
