Introducing the "Outcome" Tab in the Work Items Manager
Unlock the power to swiftly navigate your data with the new "Outcome" tab. This feature enhances your ability to filter work items based on specific results, streamlining your workflow and improving analysis efficiency. Here's how you can leverage this feature:
- All: View every item without filters for a comprehensive overview.
- As Found: Focus on items assessed with 'As Found' condition data.
- As Left: Filter for items documented with 'As Left' condition data after service or calibration.
- OOT % (Out of Tolerance): Identify items that deviate from acceptable tolerance levels by a defined percentage, highlighting those requiring immediate attention.
- TOL % (Within Tolerance): Discover items within tolerance but closely approaching the tolerance limit specified by a percentage threshold.
- TAR (Test Accuracy Ratio): Select items based on their Test Accuracy Ratio, isolating those that either surpass or do not meet the set criteria.
- TUR (Test Uncertainty Ratio): Filter items by their Test Uncertainty Ratios to identify measurements that exceed or fall short of desired standards.
By precisely categorizing your work items, the "Outcome" tab ensures you can easily access and analyze the data that matters most, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency.
Note: Click on the percentage or ratio to modify the filter parameter.
Optimizing Operations: Leveraging Outcome Analysis
As Found / As Left Conditions: The comparison between 'As Found' and 'As Left' conditions provides invaluable insights into equipment degradation patterns and the quality of service. By identifying recurring issues in 'As Found' conditions, you can tailor preventive maintenance schedules and operator training to mitigate these issues. Similarly, analyzing 'As Left' conditions helps ensure that repairs and calibrations are effective, guiding continuous improvement in service standards.
OOT % (Out of Tolerance): Items that fall out of the defined tolerance levels demand immediate attention. By prioritizing these items, you can delve into the root causes of tolerance breaches, such as service process gaps or subpar parts, and make necessary adjustments. This proactive stance not only reduces downtime but also safeguards the quality of operations.
TOL % (Within Tolerance): Identifying items within tolerance but dangerously close to the limits enables preemptive action to avoid out-of-tolerance situations. This preventive approach minimizes operational disruptions and maintains high reliability and performance standards across all equipment.
TAR (Test Accuracy Ratio): Monitoring the Test Accuracy Ratio helps maintain calibration integrity and compliance with industry standards. Adjusting calibration frequencies based on TAR outcomes ensures that equipment consistently performs accurately, enhancing operational efficiency and product quality.
TUR (Test Uncertainty Ratio): Analyzing the Test Uncertainty Ratio allows for strategic decisions on equipment upgrades or process improvements. Addressing high uncertainty ratios can lead to significant measurement precision and reliability advancements, directly impacting output quality and reducing rework.
In summary, each type of outcome offers specific insights that, when acted upon, can significantly improve business operations, from enhancing equipment reliability and performance to optimizing service quality and efficiency.
