When reference standards (tools) undergo calibration, Qualer can automatically adjust the certified accuracy/uncertainty values for future usage of this unit as a reference standard.

Note: Please contact support@qualer.com to enable the Update Asset Under Test section for measurement parameters.

Updated asset range starts with: Matches and only updates asset ranges whose names start with entered text. Use this to select specific asset ranges.

Update reference value to:  Sets the asset range's reference value to the selected variable/formula. You would typically set the reference value of the asset ranges to the mean obtained from the calibration's measurements.

Update Uncertainty of the Tool Range: Adjusts the tool range's uncertainty to reflect calibration data.

  • Individual channel/nominal uncertainties: Updates uncertainty with a detailed array of values for each measurement point and channel, providing specific uncertainty data for every aspect of the tool range.
  • Worst uncertainty in each channel: Selects and applies the highest uncertainty value found within each channel for each measurement point, ensuring conservative risk assessment across channels.
  • Worst uncertainty across all nominals/channels: Applies a single, worst-case uncertainty value across all measurement points and channels, simplifying uncertainty management by using the most conservative estimate.
