Qualer has added additional capabilities to its industry leading Uncertainty engine.

  1. The uncertainty calculator now lets users test arrays of values. To do so, users will need to enter values separated by a semicolon. Ex: 1;2;3;4;5
  2. Uncertainty calculations may now be captured and saved for each individual measurement point for clarity and future audit defense.
  3. Auxiliary tool and secondary tool attributes are now accessible in formulas.
  4. Additional variables: @MeasurementName and @PointName are available in formulas to facilitate inclusion/exclusion of uncertainty components based on these names. Also, a POS function is added to match the substring in a name.
Note: The POS() function searches for a specified substring within another string. If the substring is found, the function returns the position of the first occurrence of the second parameter within the first parameter. The position is given as an integer, where the first character is considered position 1. If the substring is not found, the function returns 0
  5. Formula substitutions now allow users to abbreviate and reuse complex parts that are repeated multiple times to reduce visual clutter.
  6. Formulas can now be used in the calculated custom fields.
  7. It is now possible to use variables inside variable names (i.e. build variables from other variables)
  8. Lookup tables can be referenced in formulas.
